Also, since that report hit the news, all the microwave popcorn makers are suddenly talking about phasing out diacetyl. It does speak poorly of all of them that they didn't make this move when it was killing their workers, only when the public started worrying about it, and it started potentially affecting sales. :-/ I kind of figure that if you eat it in moderation, there’s not much to worry about.
