have a tendency of occurring at exactly the wrong moment.  I mean, I’m all for observing the pigeons that nest on the outside of our classroom windowsill… but when we’re already ten minutes late going downstairs for lunch and I just want everyone to line up quietly and I’m not even sure why you’re halfway across the room behind my desk peering out the window in the first place?  Not the time.
